About the event

Visit the Nature Discovery Centre to meet local beekeepers and enthusiasts to discover the amazing beneficial effects that bees have on our environment.

Attractions include bee-related craft demonstrations, plants for pollinators and activities for children. The visitor centre and café are open as usual, serving a range of hot and cold food, drinks and ice-creams, along with nature-related gifts in the shop.

The event is free entry and parking is plentiful, with a suggested £3 donation charge per car.

Dogs are welcome on the reserve, but please keep them out of the lake. We ask that you keep dogs under close control at all times. Well-behaved dogs are welcome inside the visitor centre on a lead.
