BBOWT’s Nature Discovery Centre is a family friendly visitor centre surrounded by a mosaic of different habitats, including the Thatcham Community Orchard. The work party maintains this apple orchard at 10am-2pm every Tuesday.
Work consists of clearing scrub, maintaining footpaths, and pruning the trees. We have an annual Apple Day in the Autumn to celebrate the harvest with stalls and tastings.
