This training course is essential for anyone wishing to lead Forest School programmes in their own setting. It covers learning theory and practical skills, plus gives participants the confidence and knowledge needed to establish and deliver their own Forest School programmes.
Our Forest School Leader Training is run by experienced leader and trainer, Adrian Goodhand, and accredited by the awarding body QNUK. Adrian is also an Endorsed trainer with the Forest School Association
The course covers a combination of practical skills (tool use, fire lighting, campfire cooking, knot tying, identifying and using natural materials etc.) and theoretical skills (holistic development, self esteem theory, learning theory, learning through play etc.). The course also covers how to set up a Forest School programme, risk management and sustainable use of woodlands.
Forest School Level 3 Module Dates 2024-2025 (10 compulsory days) you must attend all days:
November 6th to 8th
Feb 20th to 21st
March 12th to 14th
May 10th to 11th

Price
The total cost of the Level 3 training is £1,200To pay for Level 3 training in instalments, £400 is due
at the time of booking to reserve a place, £500 is due before the start
of the course and £300 is due the beginning September. Invoices for all fees will be sent to the person you nominate in section 2 of this form.
