About the event

This walk is about 1km -just over half a mile in length and is a stroll around the lake primarily to see and identify the birds on the water and also visit the two bird hides and see if we can identify any birds lurking in the hedgerows. We will also keep an eye open for any wild flowers and fungi. There are plenty of seats around the lakeside if anybody needs to have a short rest. There are good parking facilities at the centre and there is a cafe serving drinks and light refreshments.
