Workshop: Crafting a Future We'd Be Proud to Leave to Future Generations, Sutton Courtenay, Saturday 8 February
About the event
A crafting session working together to create community artworks inspired by environmental concerns and hopes. (In 2024 we created willow and fabric globes that you can now see in the centre: new projects planned for 2025.) It's also a chance to discuss any environmental issues that are on your mind with other like-minded people in a supportive atmosphere and seek effective action that we can take as individuals and communities. All materials are provided, no experience required. Hot drinks and biscuits also provided. The activity will take place inside at Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre. This session is suitable for adults and young people aged 14+, please note under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. We'll be holding more of these sessions throughout the year, building on our ideas and discussions.
We are committed to keeping our visitors, staff and volunteers safe. Please DO NOT attend if you or your child are unwell, or testing positive for an infectious illness, such as COVID-19. Your consideration is hugely appreciated.
Please note the centre is accessible by public transport with regular buses (including connection to Didcot Parkway railway station) serving Milton Park, a few minutes walk from the centre. Bicycle parking is also available.
