About the event

Come along and join us in our cosy oak classroom to learn how to make a basket with local crafts woman Emily Chilvers. This workshop is ideal for anyone wanting an introduction into basket weaving. You will be guided through the process of the traditional stake and strand method using a range of hand dyed cane, which is a great material for learning the technique as it's very supple and allows you to focus on the technique and rhythm of weaving.

All materials and light refreshments are included in this seasonal workshop.

Please aim to arrive 15 mins before the event start time so that we can make a prompt start.
