About the event

It's a whole new world in the watery depths of the pond! Come grab a net and meet some of the fascinating creatures living just out of sight, not to mention those that leave the pond to zoom around in the air. There is always something new and exciting to see and learn about. We'll start with pond dipping at the centre's purpose built education pond, then head inside to take a close up look at our finds under the microscope.

The event is suitable for families with children aged 4 to 11 years. No younger siblings for this one please. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please dress for the outdoors!

Please note the centre is accessible by public transport with regular buses (including connections to Didcot Parkway railway station) serving Milton Park, a few minutes walk from the centre.

We are committed to keeping our visitors, staff and volunteers safe. Please DO NOT attend if you are unwell, or testing positive for an infectious illness, such as COVID-19. Your consideration is hugely appreciated.
