About the event

Knowing your soil is about identifying what you have and how best to improve it. You'll learn about the natural cycles that create soil, and find out why fungi are important in soil health. No dig is a way of managing your soil that is gaining in popularity, working with the natural cycle rather than against it. Organic gardening expert Robert Longstaff will explain it all, and answer your questions too!

The talk will start at 6pm in the education centre, but the reserve will be open from 5pm if you would like to take a walk or have a picnic first. We have our own vegetable garden in small raised beds onsite which you can explore too. After the main talk there will be time for questions. Hot drinks and biscuits provided. This event has been made possible by the Vale of the White Horse District Council Climate Action Fund.
