Event details
About the event
Join us for an evening walk and talk in Buttersteep Forest where we will hopefully see and hear some of the birds and other wildlife that are active at dusk.
Whilst we can’t promise anything, the area is usually good for one of our most special birds – the Nightjar.
We will hopefully see or hear a variety of birds and animals.
Depending on the weather there may be midges and mozzies so you may want to use insect repellent. We suggest long sleeves and trousers even if it is a warm evening.
We will be out until after dark so bring a torch. Please no dogs on this event.
We will go ahead in most weather conditions unless it is unsafe to do so, please dress accordingly.
