About the event

The Naming of Birds

Settle down with a brew and a biscuit to hear about why our birds have their names. Find out when a sparrow isn’t a sparrow, what Yellowhammers have to do with d.i.y. tools, and what their Latin names can tell us about the birds we see and hear around us.

Will you help answer nature's SOS call by adding a £5 gift to this booking? You'll help BBOWT bring nature back across our three counties. Please select a donation ticket option if you wish to donate. You can find out more about our Nature Recovery Fund here.
