Cholsey Marsh walk and talk - Monday 7 July, 1pm-3:30pm
Enjoy a relaxing walk at this tranquil riverside marsh, home to great crested grebe, warblers, and the nationally rare Desmoulin’s whorl snail. Beginning and ending at the Cholsey Great Hall, we will conclude with a selection of tea and cake whilst enjoying an exciting and informative presentation by BBOWT’s Mend the Gap Project Officer Phil Bruss.
Snelsmore Common - Thursday 9 October, 1:30pm-3:30pm
Delight in the autumnal highlights of this beautiful and varied reserve, with its fascinating mix of precious heathland, snaking valley mires, and winding paths tracing the broad-leaved woodlands. Followed by a delicious selection of tea and cake, this walk will be guided by BBOWT’s Senior Land Manager Tom Hayward.
