The work parties carry out a wide range of practical tasks to maintain and enhance the reserve. Practical work may include path maintenance, fencing, ride management, coppicing, scrub clearance and weed control as well as some working with livestock.

No experience necessary, but enthusiasm is important. Training provided for all practical tasks.
